Applications are invited for one Project Assistant (PA) under DST-INSPIRE Research Funding (GOI-E-209) at the Centre for Modeling and Simulation, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Appointment will be made as per availability of suitable candidates for the respective post.

• Eligibility : M.Sc in Physics (Final Semester students are eligible too) with strong foundation in solid state physics, condensed matter physics and experience in Molecular Dynamics Simulations. Familiarity with linux operating system (any flavors) is also recommended. Working experience in the field of computational materials science would be an advantage.
• Work Description: The project is based on computational study of thermal transport properties at nano-scale in high temperature ceramic materials using classical Molecular Dynamics approach.

Emoluments

• Rs 20000/- per month consolidated

• Up to 30th June 2020
